Things Just Got Obscure

Obscure is a lesser known survival horror video game set in a high school. Many have seen it as Resident Evil set in a school, but alas, it is a bit more then that. Maybe control wise and a few gameplay elements take from that aforementioned game, but there are certainly lots of things that set it a part. Its not the best game out there, but it certainly has a charm about it that makes it a fun play. The characters tend to be annoying, but there are a couple who are okay. Shannon for one tends to be the least annoying, and probably best designed character of the lot in a natural sort of environment. Of course, she turns into a goth come the second game and isn't as much likable. In fact, the second game doesn't quite have the charm of the first and does away with some of the things that made Obscure stand out. But I do like the second game for the Wang twins, Mei and Jun. Stan even becomes more likable in the sequel. But anyway, since there isn't that much Obscure fan art out there, I thought I'd pay homage to the game.
